Tastzellen – touch cells. These cells enable a dialogue between our body and the world. Drawing, as a sensitive material, guides us from sensations to feelings, from the external to the internal, from the earthly to the spiritual.

Tastzellen is an ephemeral in situ project conceived at Le Séchoir, the exhibition and creative space where I have had a studio since February 2023.

Slowly, the colours of the architecture of the old tilery and the landscape of the Vosges, these matt bricks and the blue of the mountains were infused into my work.
